Fall Workshops
The Pre-Law Advising Office is sponsoring several workshops this fall. Most are geared toward those folks who are applying for Fall 2005 admission to law school, but others are welcome as well. Advanced registration is not necessary. Please let me know if there are other topics you’d be interested in seeing workshops focus on.
Law School Application Process
Tuesday, September 21st, 9 am – 11 am. Dickinson 114.
An overview of the application process: what are the necessary components, what role does LSAC play, how to organize your applications, where to focus your time and energy.
Drafting Personal Statements
Thursday, October 7th, 10:30 am – 12:30 pm. Dickinson 114.
Your personal statement is the most important part of your application, after your GPA and LSAT score. This workshop will go over some important drafting tips and exercises.

Tuesday, October 19th, 9 am – 11 am. Dickinson 114.
Those of you who are taking the LSAT in October should have your scores by the date of this workshop. Now how do you decide which schools are “reach” and which “likely”? What are the factors you should consider in choosing law schools? How do you find out about the schools?
