Welcome Back!

After a bit of a late start, I am here. Following in the footsteps of Diane Curtis, Esq., whose shoes will be hard to fill, I am happy to announce that I will be the new Pre-Law Advisor. My name is Aaron Lorenz and I teach various courses in the Department of Legal Studies. I have been at the University since 1998 when I came out from California to finish my Ph.D. in Political Science.

I will be holding office hours, listed in the post below, and I am ready for appointments. For those of you not applying for the Fall of 2007, try and be patient so that I may first assist those that need advising now.

I will be holding workshops, panels, and other events throughout the semester. If you have specific suggestions or questions, please contact me. Look to this blog and the Pre-Law website for info and answers to your questions regarding the process of applying to law school.
