Changes at the Pre-Law Advising Office
There will be a new Pre-Law Advisor for Fall 2006. I am leaving the University to take a full-time teaching position at another college. It has been a difficult decision to make, because I love UMass so much, but it is the right professional opportunity for me.
Watch this space for news about the appointment of a new Pre-Law Advisor! If you're on the Pre-Law Advising email list, you should also receive an announcement via email.
In the meantime --
If you applying to law schools for admission for Fall 2007, make ample use of the official Pre-Law Advising website. Answers to almost all of your questions can be found there, or on the Law School Admission Council (LSAC) website. If you are having difficulties understanding the online application process, please review the demo video available on the front page of the LSAC website -- it is very helpful.
If you need a Dean's Letter completed prior to the appointment of a new Pre-Law Advisor, please contact the Judicial Affairs office of the Dean of Students in 227 Whitmore. They should be able to give you what you need. If you have any difficulties there, please speak with Sandie Pirrello in the Arts & Sciences Advising Center in E24 Machmer.
