Random news from law schools

I often get news from law schools about a new program they're trying to highlight, or an event on campus. I'm going to try to start posting as many of these as possible, just to pass along the info.

Albany Law School is currently trying out podcasting in its Spring Evidence class, with the hope of expanding it to other courses. The idea is not to replace classroom lectures, but to supplement them with a recording of the lecture (allowing for repeated listening), as well as other course outline materials. The podcasts will be available online for students to listen to or download to their MP3 players. Albany is also sponsoring an Open House on March 4th.

The Director of Admissions at Tulane Law School in New Orleans writes to say that students and faculty are back on their campus, and that things are going well as rebuidling goes on around them. The campus is intact, and 85% of their students returned to Tulane for the Spring Semester. They welcome visitors, and encourage all applicants to apply electronically, since regular mail is still inconsistent.
