Not law-related, but fun and for a good cause

It's Mayor Higgins' Hot Chocolate Run & Walk for Safe Passage, a fundraising 5K in Northampton to benefit the local battered women's shelter. The event is Saturday, December 11th, so it's perfectly timed to let you run off some pre-finals (and post-LSAT) stress. Registration is only $12 in advance at runreg.com or $15 the day of the race, and all the money goes to Safe Passage. Every runner gets a free mug designed by local cartoonist Hilary Price (Rhymes With Orange), which will be filled with Hot Chocolate at the end of the race.
